Leanne Zdebiak-Eni: Director/Owner Studio IPF
Leanne formed Island Pilates in 2003, and in 2013, officially changed the name of the studio to Studio IPF: Inner Pursuit Fitness. Though once solely devoted to the practice of Pilates, Studio IPF has transformed into a multifaceted health & fitness studio, recently winning the title of Best Yoga/Pilates Studio in Western Canada, by Get Out There Magazine. Leanne is a certified STOTT Pilates Matwork Instructor, a BCRPA Advanced Group Fitness Leader, a Yin Yoga Teacher, a certified BOSU Integrated Balance Trainer Instructor, a TRX Suspension Trainer and is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Mom to an amazing 16 year old girl, and wife to an incredibly supportive husband, Leanne strives to make the studio a positive, healthy, fun, community experience. She greatly appreciates the diverse talent and professionalism of her amazing instructor team.
Paula Bazett: IPF F.I.T. 45 and IPF Director of Membership
Paula is a huge part of the IPF Team. You’ll see her as coach in many of our challenges, and she also does a lot of work behind the scenes as IPF Director of Membership. Paula’s teaches our very popular F.I.T. 45 class on Monday nights and Saturday mornings.
Birgit Nilson: Pilates, Yin Yoga, Sculpt & Sculpt Flow
Birgit has a diploma in Kinesiology and is a BCRPA registered Personal Trainer and Trainer of Fitness Leaders, and is a registered Yoga Therapist. She is also the owner of WorkWise Occupational Health Consulting. She has been teaching Fitness and Yoga classes for over 15 years and has been on the IPF Instructor team, since 2006.
Combining knowledge and her vast experience, Birgit will help you find new ways to challenge your body in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Jessica Wittman: Zumba
Jessica is a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor, and also brings numerous certifications from dance, yoga and Pilates. Her infectious enthusiasm, and expert instruction will keep you coming back to her incredibly fun classes again and again.
Megan Tomlinson: Hatha Yoga
Megan grew up as a dancer and was initially drawn to the practice of yoga in 1999 as a physical form for creation and expression through movement. In spring 2005, Megan completed the Teacher Training Program at MokSana Yoga Centre and went on to complete her 500 hour certification with the South Okanagan Yoga Association. Megan draws daily inspiration from the lessons yoga offers on the mat and in the school of life.
Chantal was born and raised on Hornby Island where enthusiasm for fitness is a natural component of growing up. Through dance Chantal was led to wanting to further her understanding of the Pilates program. She went on to complete her training at Pilates Unlimited, in Vancouver between 2005 and 2010.
She has spearheaded the IPF Barre Workout, and offers a well-rounded total body workout that is sure to make you sweat and smile!
Tina Pringle: Rise & Rock, IPF F.I.T. 45, Bellyfit and Bellyfit FLOW
Tina has a deep passion for teaching fitness and loves sharing the flow of Bellyfit with her participants.
Liz Colomby: TRX Training, Rise & Rock, IPF Outdoor Bootcamp & F.I.T. 45
Liz began her journey at Studio IPF as a reluctant participant, but you wouldn’t know that now! Her lifestyle has done a complete 360 and her enthusiasm for health and fitness is contagious.
